The Walther P99 from Pierce!!! The gun is a film prop made of resin at Pinewood Studios in Gngland for the Swiss bankers office scene (Bilbao,Spain) in the 19th James Bond film "The World Is Not Enough!" and was one of 2 guns made for use in the film (the blank firing guns were supplied by Apty and Co.The serial number of this gun is clearly visible and confirmed by Bapty's as Bond weapon!). The scene originallly required a gun to explode to allow Bond to gain the element of surprise and escape with Sir Robert King's Money! The effects team at Pinewood did a safety check on the scene and discovered that due to the way the gun was placed on the table there was a risk of the gun moving once exploded towards the actors and as Brosnan had already filmed this part in the scene it was decided to make another gun with more detail on the butt and just film the scene with the gun in a safe position, you can see exactly what we mean by watching the scene on DVD closely. The prop came from a crew member after filming, the other drop gun (from the later filmed close-up scene) is kept by EON productions fro their exhibitions.
