What a find! We were able to aquire the Drax Airlines Helicopter XXL Decal seen in Lewis Gilbert's 1979 spy film, Moonraker. In the film, James Bond (Roger Moore) investigates the theft of a space shuttle and discovers a plot to commit global genocide by the billionaire tycoon, Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale). This decal comes from the scene in which Bond is taxied to the Drax compound by Corinne Dufour (Corinne Cléry). Previously placed on one side of the Bell 206 JetRanger helicopter, this decal is made from Kodak paper and showcases the Drax Enterprise Corporation logo. On the back of the decal is a handwritten note that reads: "Moonraker" helicopter footage slot March 21, 1979 (LAX, Century City, and Desert). This item shows adhesive residue on the backside from application, and general light wear due to age, however it remains in overall very good condition. Item size - 0.1" x 24.0" x 24.0" (0.25cm x 60.96cm x 60.96cm)
