A wonderful prop from DIE ANOTHER DAY. A large aluminium 'Graves Diamonds' container from the explosive James Bond movie: Die Another Day (2002). This large 'chest' was used in the production of the film and seen when the diamonds are being loaded onto the plane towards the end of the movie. These boxes are owned by Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) and feature the 'Graves Diamonds' logo to the front. THE DIAMOND THEME IS THE MOST IMPORTANT OF THE MOVIE. SO THIS IS A REAL REFERNCE PIECE PROP FOR THE FILM. The lettering of Diamonds has come away in some places since the production, now reading 'Diamo'. This quite heavy prop is made by 'Zarges' and has two clamp-style metal clips to the front to keep the lid secured, with two black plastic handles to each side. There are several screws all over and a few intentional bumps and scrapes to give this piece a well worn 'used' look. On opening, there are two grey nylon straps that hold the lid open as well as further intentional distress inside. This rather large prop box measures 57.5cm x 40cm x 40cm (22.6” x 15.7” x 15.7”). A wonderful and one-off major prop from the film.
